I have screenshots of the website — which has now been taken down. The offer was simple: send them 0.25 BTC, and they’d send back 0.50 BTC or 2X what you sent them Nowhere on the site did it say you had to send two different kinds of crypto to receive the bonus. I sent 0.25 BTC and then they say this….. After I sent 1 ETH (in two transactions), they told me it had to be 1 ETH in one transaction — something they didn’t state in advance. Thankfully, Coinbase locked my account before I could send a second ETH. So, I’ve lost 0.25 BTC and 1 ETH. I asked them to return my funds in their live chat. They told me my ETH would be burned — and then, of course, they shut the chat down. It made me so sick I called out of work yesterday. Losing $30K is a massive blow, while I’m still recovering from bankruptcy and divorce. I sent them an email, but we’ll see. Anyone know a lawyer who could write a strong letter on my behalf? Happy to pay a fee.
