A man questioned by heavily armed police over the disappearance of Dezi Freeman has been cleared of any link to the armed fugitive as tactical officers search a new area about 100km where he was last seen. Police intercepted a car on Wednesday in Undera, near Shepparton in Victoria’s north, shutting down the middle of the busy road. Tactical police also searched a property in Goomalibee, near Benalla, about 100km from where the gunman allegedly shot two police officers in Porepunkah.
