St. George Bank accepts cash only into accounts via deposit at their ATMs and Coin Deposit Machines (CDMs). To do this they force you to have a smart mobile-phone/App.. Cash payments at the bank counter for crediting to a bank account are no longer possible. St. George Bank no longer offer Cardless Cash withdrawals, which may be the reason for confusion. Deposits made at ATMs or CDMs are subject to verification by St. George Bank, so it is a good idea to check your account to confirm the funds have been successfully processed.
St. George Bank does not accept cash payments over the counter for all transactions, and has recently stopped offering their Cardless Cash withdrawal feature. To make a cash deposit or withdrawal, you will need to use an ATM. However, for payments that you wish to stop, you can cancel direct debits online – St. George app, or by calling St. George on 13 33 30.
