The Budget expenditure you may not know about
While the focus in the Budget wash-up has rightly focused on the Capital Gains Tax and Negative Gearing changes, there are a raft of expenditure commitments in the Budget that will have all fair-minded Aussies up in arms. At a time of soaring cost of living, multiple interest rate rises and the government dipping into your pocket for even more of your money, it’s good to know exactly what they’re doing with it. Here are some examples of where your money is going:
$74.2 million to fight misuse of the protection visa system $27 million to make migrant workers follow the law $19.8 million to fight abuse of the student visa system $10.8 million to “provide community led health literacy education to refugee and migrant women” $7.7 million to boost refugee employment $68.5 million for “HIV treatment and pre exposure prophylaxis (PrEP)” for immigrants who are not eligible for Medicare $167.3 million to provide development assistance to Nauru $550 million (yes, $550 million!) to “support high quality, climate resilient infrastructure in the Pacific and Timor Leste”
$167.3 million to provide development assistance to Nauru $64.6 million to recruit Papua New Guinean citizens into the Australian Defence Force $33.2 million on Indonesia-related initiatives $25.3 million on the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, mainly for a grants and fellowships program $6.6 million to provide Advanced Medium Range Air to Air Missiles to the United Arab Emirates for use in self defence.
$793.7 million for “Closing the Gap” investments $218.3 million to “end violence” against indigenous women and children $48.3 million for Aboriginal hostels $36.6 million to the Australian Electoral Commission to extend the Indigenous Electoral Participation program $6.8 million for aboriginals to “own, access and manage water”

We are told there is the “Law of Gravity” ? better named the Theory of Gravity. First listen to well known Actor-Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson when asked – What is gravity ? Answer – I have no idea.

We did an experiment. A glass bottle about 1 foot high with a large top hole, was filled to the brim with water. A dense plastic-bakelite toy submarine was put in and it sank to the bottom. A rubber sheet was put over the top of the bottle and we pressed on it with our fingers. Behold – the submarine rose to the top, release the pressure and it sank again, over and over several times. So what happened ? The pressure increased the density of the water so it became greater than the density of the submarine, so it rose up. It is not gravity! Our Earth is not a spinning ball covered in sticky water in a so called vacuum of called space, the vacuum would suck it out.
So how about us seeing the same stars every night since creation, even when we are supposed to be on the opposite side of the sun every six months?
